Surgical Management of Hearing Loss and the Role of the Audiologist (Part 1) CPDONLINE147

Details

Session Overview: "Endoscopic or “keyhole” surgery is a minimally invasive and technically demanding procedure for treating a wide range of middle ear conditions, including otosclerosis. It is now increasing in popularity with surgical outcomes and complication rates demonstrated to be comparable to traditional microscopic techniques. This webinar will provide a broad overview of the endoscopic approach to treating a range of middle ear conditions, looking at cholesteatoma, tympanoplasty, stapes and ossicular chain reconstruction. It will include several live videos which demonstrate the procedure and there will be opportunity to discuss referral protocols, audiological work-up and post-operative management."
