Consultation on a New Approach to Regulating Aged Care (October 2022)

Our submission to the model on regulating aged care focused on several key issues regarding supporting the hearing  health of residents in aged care, including: the importance of hearing health care for older Australians and the increasing need for audiology services in the aged care sector, and the need for an aged care workforce that is educated in both the management of hearing loss and balance issues, and the importance of ear and hearing health care for the older population.
